The SOMYC series is a work in progress 3D wall system with a dual performative function: it provides a solution for sound sensitive environments and improves indoor air quality. The system is made of panels manufactured with a biocomposite made by a component of mycellium and industrial waste that reduces echo and resonance and by another component that integrates activated carbon that cleans the air by removing some VOC'S (volatile air compounds). The SOMYC panels are part of a line of products that are being developed by our start-up company bioMATTERS. | ||
